About this trip
Gandiva is a wooden phinisi luxury-class boat running 3 days 2 nights sharing open trips out of Labuan Bajo, with 5 cabins. You pay per person rather than chartering the whole boat: Bima Room at IDR 8,800,000, Yudishtira Room at IDR 8,800,000, Nakula Room at IDR 9,850,000, Sadewa Room at IDR 9,850,000, Arjuna Room at IDR 11,100,000. The cabin is what changes, the route does not.
Paid separately in cash on site: the Komodo National Park entry fee, IDR 250,000 for Indonesian visitors and IDR 650,000 for foreign visitors, plus the ranger fee.

Cabins
Arjuna Room
The priciest cabin on board, and the one the operator calls the master bedroom. They have not sent a photo of the room yet, so what you see here is its ensuite: the window opens onto the sea, the shower sits above. Ask on WhatsApp if you want to see the room before paying.
Nakula Room
Its double bed sits against three big windows facing the sea, so the water is in view while you are still lying down. The headboard is a green and gold geometric wood panel, the only one on this boat. Same price as Sadewa, and these two are the cabins the operator calls ocean view.
Sadewa Room
Nakula’s twin: same price, same double bed, and the same sea view through two large windows beside the bed. A carved timber panel sits above the headboard. Either one works; the difference is the number of windows and the wall panel.
Bima Room
IDR 1,050,000 cheaper than the ocean-view cabins, and the view is what you give up: no sea windows here, just one small round porthole in the wall. The rest is full timber, with a bedside table, sockets and a reading light. Its ensuite has a pillar shower and a basin.
Yudishtira Room
Same price as Bima, so this is the joint-cheapest cabin on board. The operator has not sent a photo of the room; what exists is its ensuite, with a shower and a basin. Ask on WhatsApp if you want to see the room before paying.

Itinerary
Day 1
Board the phinisi at Labuan Bajo Harbor 10:00-11:00. Sail to Kelor Island for a viewpoint hike. Snorkel at Manjarite. Flying-fox sunset at Kalong Island. Overnight on board.
Day 2
Sunrise hike on Padar Island (panorama of 3 bays). Pink Beach for swimming and snorkeling. Ranger-led Komodo dragon trek on Komodo Island. Snorkel the Taka Makassar sandbank. Snorkel at Manta Point. Overnight on board.
Day 3
Strawberry Rock for climbing and snorkeling. Sail back to Labuan Bajo, arriving at the harbor 11:00-12:00.

Booking terms
A 30% deposit locks your seat. The balance can be settled up to the departure day. Booking less than 7 days out must be paid in full upfront.
If you bring a replacement guest for your seat, you get a full refund whenever you cancel.
