About this trip
Fortuna is a deluxe-class phinisi with 6 cabins for 14 guests, or up to 16 with extra beds. Its 3 day 2 night Komodo open trip leaves from Labuan Bajo, and you pay per person: from IDR 3,700,000 in a Sharing Triple up to IDR 5,950,000 in the Master Balcony.
What makes Fortuna good for an open trip: all six cabins have a private bathroom, the sharing cabins included. Even if you take the cheapest bed, you shower in your own cabin instead of queuing for a shared one.

There is a sun deck with tables and bean bags, indoor and outdoor lounges, a semi-outdoor dining area, a TV and karaoke, and a Bluetooth sound system. Safety gear is life jackets and a first-aid kit, and drinking water comes from a dispenser throughout the trip.

If you travel solo or as three, the Sharing Triple has 3 single beds and a private bathroom, IDR 3,700,000 per person. If two of you want a Sharing Triple to yourselves, it is IDR 4,450,000 per person.
For couples, the Signature Balcony has a double bed and a balcony, IDR 4,550,000 per person, minimum 2 people. Want a bigger bed? The Deluxe Balcony and Master Balcony have queen beds, and both can take an extra bed at IDR 3,000,000 for a third person.

Where does the route go?
Day one goes to Sebayur Island, then snorkelling at Manta Point and the Taka Makassar sandbar. Day two is the full one: sunrise on Padar Island, Long Pink Beach, a ranger-led walk on Komodo Island, and the evening at Kalong Island waiting for thousands of flying foxes. Day three visits Kelor Island and snorkels at Menjerite before heading back to Labuan Bajo. The order of stops can change with the weather, and the captain makes that call.
