Umami is a superior-class phinisi out of Labuan Bajo, running a 3-day 2-night open trip around Komodo National Park. Prices start at Rp 2,850,000 per person.
The boat has 5 cabins for 14 guests, and every one of them has its own bathroom inside. So on Umami there is no queueing for a shared bathroom, even in the cheapest cabin.
What are the cabins like?
Prices below are per person for the 3-day 2-night trip.
- •Suite Cabin, main deck, double bed, 2 guests, Rp 4,150,000.
- •Deluxe Cabin, upper deck, double bed, 2 guests, Rp 3,850,000.
- •Superior Cabin, main deck, double bed, 2 guests, Rp 3,450,000.
- •Sharing Cabin 1 and Sharing Cabin 2, each with two double beds for 4 guests, Rp 2,850,000.
All cabins have air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom.
Travelling solo or as a pair on a budget? Take a Sharing Cabin. You pay per person, share the room with other guests, and still get a private bathroom inside.
If you are two and want a room to yourselves, the Superior Cabin makes the most sense. It is only Rp 600,000 more per person than the Sharing Cabin. Want to sleep on the upper deck? Pick the Deluxe Cabin. The Suite Cabin is for you if you want the highest-class cabin on this boat.
When does it sail?
Umami runs the 3-day 2-night open trip on two patterns: weekends from Friday to Sunday, and weekdays. Boarding is in the morning in Labuan Bajo, around 09:00 or 10:00 WITA depending on the departure. Check the open dates on this page.
Can I charter the whole boat?
Yes. Umami is also sold as a private charter for groups of up to 15 people, with a route you plan together. For a family or company group, a charter often makes more sense than filling cabins one by one. Ask for the price on WhatsApp.
