The boat has 5 cabins for 18 guests. Two shared cabins are sold per person, so if you travel alone you can join without booking a whole room. Couples and families fit here too.
What are the cabins like?
The five cabins come at three prices, from IDR 2,900,000 to IDR 4,100,000 per person. Only two things set them apart: which deck the cabin is on, and whether the bathroom is inside or outside.
There are two Master Rooms on the upper deck, each for 2 guests with an en-suite bathroom. The bed sits against large windows facing the sea. IDR 4,100,000 per person.
There are two Sharing Room Private Bathroom cabins on the main deck, each for 4 guests. The windows face the sea and the bathroom is inside the cabin. IDR 3,100,000 per person, bookable from one guest.
There is one Sharing Room Share Bathroom on the main deck, for 6 guests on single beds. It is the only cabin whose bathroom is outside and shared, which is why it is the cheapest. IDR 2,900,000 per person.
So if an en-suite bathroom is a must, choose a Master Room or a Sharing Room Private Bathroom.
Who is it right for?
Travelling alone? Take one bed in either Sharing Room. You pay per person and share the cabin with other guests, the cheapest way onto this trip.
Want a room for two with nobody else? The Master Room is the answer. It is IDR 1,200,000 per person more than the cheapest cabin, for an en-suite bathroom and the upper deck.
A family of four fits one Sharing Room Private Bathroom. A group of six can take the Sharing Room Share Bathroom together.
What is the boat like?
North Blue is a white-hulled wooden phinisi. The upper deck has a fabric-roofed lounge with beanbags and a sun mattress facing the sea, best in the late afternoon while the boat is moving. There is also a lounge with a long sofa and a round wooden table, where people gather after snorkelling.
Can I charter the whole boat?
Yes. North Blue also runs private charters for your own group. Charter is priced per boat and depends on the length of the trip and the group size, so we send the figure on WhatsApp once your dates and numbers are set.
How do I book?
North Blue dates are not in the calendar on this page yet, which does not mean the boat is full. Send the date you want on WhatsApp, we check with the operator and tell you which cabins are still open. The Komodo National Park ticket is not included and you can add it at checkout.

Cabins
Upper deck · 2 pax2× Master Room
These two sit on the upper deck, and that is what sets them apart: white walls with dark ceiling beams rather than the full timber of the lower deck. The double bed backs onto two large sea-facing windows, so the view is there while you are still lying down. A long wooden shelf runs beside the bed for your things, plus air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom.
Main deck · 4 pax2× Sharing Room Private Bathroom
A main-deck cabin, walls and ceiling in full timber. Inside are two double bunks, so four guests fit and each level sleeps two. There is a small sea-facing window beside the bed, air conditioning on the wall, and an en-suite bathroom. Solo travellers can book a single spot here rather than the whole cabin.
Main deck · 6 paxSharing Room Share Bathroom
The biggest cabin and the cheapest, on the main deck. Two double bunks plus two singles, six guests in total. This is the only cabin on board whose bathroom is OUTSIDE the room and shared - which is why it costs IDR 1,200,000 less than the master. Timber walls, air conditioning, thick mattresses with red pillows.

Day 1
Gather at the meeting point, board the boat from Labuan Bajo. Kelor Island, snorkeling at Manjarite, flying-fox sunset at Kalong Island. Lunch + dinner, overnight on board.
Day 2
Sunrise hike on Padar Island, Pink Beach (swimming + snorkeling), Komodo dragon trek on Komodo Island, snorkeling at Taka Makassar + Manta Point. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, overnight on board.
Day 3
Kanawa Island, then sail back to Labuan Bajo (arriving midday). Breakfast + lunch.

Day 15 stops
- 10:00-11:00 - Board at KP3 Harbour in Labuan Bajo, meet the crew and settle into your cabin.
- Kelor Island - An easy trek up the ridge. Short but steep, and the cluster of islands opens up from the top.
- Manjarite - A relaxed snorkel in clear water over shallow reef and reef fish.
- Kalong Island - We anchor in the late afternoon and wait for thousands of flying foxes to leave the mangroves as the sun drops.
- Overnight on board.
Day 26 stops
- Padar Island - We leave in the dark to catch sunrise. The climb is real, and what waits at the top is the three-bay view Komodo is known for.
- Pink Beach - The sand is pink from broken coral. You can swim and snorkel straight off the beach.
- Komodo Island - A trek with a national park ranger to see the dragons in their own habitat. The ranger sets the route and the distance.
- Manta Point - A swim looking for manta rays. It depends on the current and the sea that day.
- Taka Makassar - A sandbar that surfaces at low tide, good for photos and a snorkel along its edge.
- Overnight on board.
Day 33 stops
- Kanawa or Siaba Island - A last snorkel in clear water. Turtles pass through Siaba often.
- Around 11:00 - Back alongside at KP3 Harbour in Labuan Bajo.
- That leaves room for an afternoon flight, but do not book one too tight.
