About this trip
Sea Familia I runs the Komodo route out of Labuan Bajo as a 3 days 2 nights sharing trip: you book a cabin, the rest of the boat fills up with other guests, and everyone pays per person. Six cabins, twelve guests, one extra bed available. Small enough that the sundeck never feels like a queue.
**Where you sleep.** Four Manta Cabins on the main deck, two Turtle Cabins on the upper deck. Every cabin is built for two with a queen bed, so it works for a couple or for two friends splitting a room. Turtle Cabin is IDR 5,850,000 per person and the cheapest way onboard. Manta Cabin is IDR 6,850,000 per person and sits on the main deck, closer to the water. Manta Cabin I takes one extra bed at IDR 4,795,000 if you are travelling three.
**What the boat gives you.** A jacuzzi on the foredeck, a sundeck laid with mattresses for the long stretches between islands, and an indoor dining room so meals do not depend on the weather. The vessel is 25 metres.
**How the money works.** Prices are per person for the whole 3 days 2 nights. Not included: fuel at IDR 450,000 per person, 1.1% tax on the cabin price, and the Komodo National Park entry fee, IDR 350,000 for Indonesians and IDR 650,000 for foreign visitors, paid in cash on site. A 30% deposit holds your seat and the balance can be settled any time up to the departure day. Booking less than seven days out has to be paid in full upfront.

**Who it suits.** Sharing means you are on the same boat as guests you have not met, and that is exactly why it costs a fraction of chartering the whole vessel. If you are travelling as a pair and you do not mind eating dinner with new people, this is the one. If you want the boat for your own group only, message us, Sea Familia I can be chartered whole.

Manta Cabin I
The Manta cabin has a wide window facing the Labuan Bajo water, so your first morning starts with the sea and the harbour hills. Queen bed with a wooden headboard, a small side shelf for your phone and bits, and blinds on the glass if you want the room dark. Manta Cabin II

Turtle Cabin I
The Turtle cabin sits on the upper deck. The headboard is a slatted wooden panel with lighting behind it, so at night the room is warm rather than glaring.
