About this trip
Invictus is a 21.3-metre wooden phinisi based in Labuan Bajo. The trip runs 3 days and 2 nights through Komodo National Park, and you pay per person, not for the whole boat.
What makes Invictus comfortable: all 7 cabins have air conditioning, hot water and windows onto the sea. On board there is Starlink, a TV and karaoke, and paddle boards and canoes for calm bays.
What are the cabins like?
There are 4 cabin types.
Master Balcony, 1 cabin on the upper deck. A double bed, a private balcony and an ensuite. An extra bed can be added if there are three of you.
Deluxe Cabin, 2 cabins on the upper deck. A double bed and an ensuite.
Superior Cabin, 3 cabins on the main deck. A double bed and an ensuite, the best-value choice for two.
Shared Cabin, 1 cabin on the main deck. Three single beds with a shared bathroom, booked per bed.
That is 15 guests on standard beds, 16 with the extra bed in the Master Balcony. The per-person price of each cabin, and the price for a third guest, are in the cabin table on this page.
What is the boat like?
A wooden phinisi, 21.3 metres long and 5.56 metres wide, with a Mitsubishi 8D16 engine and 8 crew. Up top there is a grass-covered sundeck with bean bags, and inside a dining room with wide windows. A 5-metre dinghy with a Yamaha 40 HP engine runs you to beaches and snorkel spots.
Safety gear: life jackets, liferaft, lifebuoy, fire extinguishers, distress signals and first aid.
Who is it for?
If you are a couple, take a Superior to save or a Deluxe on the upper deck. For a special trip, the Master Balcony with its private balcony is the one.
If you are travelling solo, book one bed in the Shared Cabin and share it with other guests.
If you need to stay connected, the Starlink on board helps.
Where does it go?
Day one, the trip starts between 09:30 and 10:30. Stops at Sebayur Island, snorkelling at Manta Point, then time on Taka Makassar.
Day two, a hike on Padar Island, time on Pink Beach, Komodo dragons on Rinca Island, then Kalong Island as thousands of flying foxes head out.
Day three, stops at Kelor and Manjarite islands, then the trip ends in Labuan Bajo between 11:30 and 12:00.
The order of stops can change with the weather and sea conditions.
